I was smacked in the face this morning after I looked over our schedule for this week and weekend.... IT'S THANKSGIVING!!! This is one of our busiest weekends of the year for family portraits. And why not... this is the time we all get together with family and friends. We like to know that by taking your family photos it gives you something to look back on and appreciate later. Check out some photos from a recent session with a family in Georgetown! I know you'll agree that these two girls are so beautiful and the colour blue in the clothing adds almost a whimsical look with the photographs. The sisters just have this little Fairy look to me, and so for the first time ever I wanted to add a little fairy dust to the pictures. It's the first time I've used an artificial effect on a photograph as I usually prefer a more natural look, but I think the subtle and softness of this effect is actually so natural that I bet you can't picture what it would look like without it!
