A New Viking!

I had so much fun with the adorable Ethan. When I met with Katie and Jason I was thrilled to hear about their history and learning a little about Jason’s viking heritage. I enjoyed incorporating this theme into our session!  Here are some great shots from my newborn session with Ethan the Viking!

All in the Family!

A new baby is born and arrives home to meet her family… of fur siblings! When I rang baby Teegan’s doorbell for my home session with her I was pleasantly surprised to be excitedly greeted by two dogs and a cat!  It was such a treat to work with all these animals during my newborn session with Teegan. They all really love her and accept her as one of their own. It was hard to get just a solo one of this new baby because everyone wanted to be in the shot!

Cake as Paint? A Cake Smash paint fest!

I like cake. A lot. I absolutely love pie, but I like cake. Most kids that come to our studio like cake. Ella on the other hand, she LOVES cake. I mean, she really couldn’t get enough of it. Using her hands to shovel it into her mouth wasn’t good enough, she had to use her feet too. Pure genius. She even started painting the floor with it. Which is far better for the environment than some paints, plus it's tastier to clean up.  Did you know that cake is a decent substitute for paint? You do now. You’re welcome.

I don’t know about you, but I think a pie smash might be a good idea. No, that’s just crazy. Pie should never be wasted by smashing. The cake must be going to my head!
